Rules to Play By

Look, we just want to talk psychology here a little bit. Your kids are going to be excited when you take them out. Whether it’s the zoo, six flags or Chuck-E-Cheese, your children are going to be excited. We recommend using that excitement to set some rules for them. Let them know that they are going to a public place and take the opportunity to teach them to be courteous of others. Certainly, we don’t want you to overshadow the whole trip with doom and gloom. That would defeat the purpose of having fun. However, it is a good time to do that hard job of being a parent and teaching your children good conduct habits in a social public atmosphere. You’ve earned some brownie points so don’t be afraid to use a few in exchange for good behavior!
