Well, technically, I suppose it is a little early to be thinking about Halloween. Let’s face it. It is hot outside in Texas right now! It was 110F with the heat index today… very, very hot! So, with the kids playing inside most of the day, they started thinking about the next big holiday. Now, that holiday is not Labor Day. They’re just toddles and Labor Day doesn’t mean much. To them, it’s just another day that Mom and Dad stay home… but they’re not sure why.

However, they do remember the Halloween Costumes from the past years. Our son dressed up as a monkey 2 years ago and he still remembers all of the noises. It’s funny to see him jump up and down acting like a monkey. Of course, that’s one of his “cute card” tactics. He really does have a strong will. Wow.

Anyway, last year we used a couple of websites for ideas: Homemade Costumes and Group Halloween Costume Ideas. These websites have a ton of ideas and some pictures. When we were looking for ideas, we noticed “The Flintstones” as an idea for a group family costume. We looked up some of the costumes to get a good feel for what was out there… and my wife purchase the Fred Costume for me. I won’t be posting that here!!! direct. The Flintstones are one of the most popular ideas for families with a boy and a girl… or two families where one has a baby girl and one has a baby boy. There are several other fun family ideas… just click through and check them out… it looks like they’re still loading several of the ideas… but they’ve got enough listed to get you thinking! Let us know what you are planning for Halloween. Even though it is still a few months out, this is the time to do some brain storming. It will be here before you know it!!!
